LNA Annual Meeting
[ January 10, 2012; 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. ] The Annual Meeting of the Lavaca Neighborhood Association will be held January 10, 2012, at the St. Joseph’s Hall on César Chávez (formerly Durango).
This is a combined business and social event, featuring a potluck dinner and election of officers and directors.

Police Safety Tips
There was a break-in in the neighborhood recently, at a home on Eager near Presa.
Reports circulated that another home may have been burglarized as well; however, our community safety officer, Officer Ron Strothman of the SAPD, tells us that there was a single break-in, not multiple. Lavaca, he assures us, is a safe neighborhood.
