The San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA), Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) and the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) are bringing an open-air farmer’s market to Lavaca! It will offer produce, meats, artisan breads, free-range eggs, and more.
“The grand opening will feature a local Por Vida restaurant, food vendors, cooking and fitness demonstrations, local entertainment and a press conference with CPPW, SAHA and SAFB representatives, elected officials and community leaders.”
The Grand Opening is on Friday, September 2, starting at 3:00 p.m.; The farmer’s market will be open the first Friday of every month from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 800 E Cesar Chavez Blvd (formerly Durango). This is between the HemisView apartments and Labor St.
